Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for mobile applications and APIs
- Set and drive test automation strategy for assigned products or features
- Build and maintain mobile UI automation suites using Appium
- Develop and own API test coverage
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor execution
- Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and report defects
- Validate system behavior and data integrity across SQL and MongoDB data stores
- Review code and uphold coding standards
- Mentor junior engineers and support onboarding and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- At least 2 years of mobile automation development experience across frontend and backend
- Experience with Android SDK, Playwright, Appium, Jenkins, and Git
- Experience automating iOS and Android apps with Appium and integrating with a device farm
- Proficiency in Java and TypeScript
- Experience with prompt engineering and AI tools, including AI agents, to accelerate test development
- Experience creating CI/CD pipelines and jobs
- Knowledge of SQL Server and MongoDB
- Experience with Splunk and Kibana
- Ability to analyze business processes and implement technical solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field, or equivalent experience
