Senior Mechanical Product Engineer – Sustaining Engineering

Own existing product platforms through their lifecycle, leading design improvements, issue resolution, quality and reliability enhancements, and technical support for manufacturing and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Lead product improvements, design changes, and engineering optimization initiatives
- Investigate field and production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Improve product quality, reliability, manufacturability, serviceability, and cost
- Support manufacturing, quality, service, and supply chain teams with technical problem-solving
- Lead engineering change requests and orders from concept through implementation
- Work with suppliers on technical issues, qualifications, and product improvements
- Support validation, testing, and first article inspection activities
- Collaborate with mechanical, electronics, firmware, and systems teams
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 4 years of experience in product engineering, sustaining engineering, or product development
- Experience with multidisciplinary products and mass-production environments
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting, testing, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with root-cause analysis methodologies
- Fluent English
Nice to have
- Experience with consumer products or electromechanical systems
- Supplier management experience
- Experience with ECR/ECO processes
- Knowledge of FMEA, DFM, and DFA
- Experience in global manufacturing environments
