Lead complex mechanical development projects from specification and RFQ through development and transition to serial production. Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and multiple projects in a dynamic defense manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex mechanical development projects from concept and RFQ through serial production.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams across mechanical design, manufacturing, materials, ballistics, automotive, electrical, electronics, systems engineering, planning, and procurement.
- Manage project timelines, costs, technical requirements, quality, and manufacturability.
- Drive engineering processes across multiple interfaces and manage several projects in parallel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Agricultural, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized academic institution.
- At least 5 years of experience leading engineering projects.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a matrix organization.
- High-level English proficiency.
Nice to have
- Experience with product development projects.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or an MBA.
