Field-based engineer responsible for executing mechanical, laboratory piping, and process piping systems across major building construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage subcontractors and on-site execution activities.
- Review and validate engineering designs and plans.
- Coordinate with quality control teams.
- Track project progress and ensure work follows approved schedules and plans.
- Develop work plans for subcontractors.
- Coordinate day-to-day field activities for mechanical and piping systems.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of relevant experience.
- Responsibility for mechanical systems execution on at least two completed building construction projects during the past seven years.
- Projects must each have had a built area of at least 10,000 m².
- Experience with complex mechanical and process systems and varied gas, water, and wastewater piping systems.
Nice to have
- Mechanical engineering degree or practical mechanical engineering qualification.
- Experience with gas, water, wastewater, mechanical, and process piping systems.
