Part-time, equity-based senior R&D mechanical engineering role developing an on-site fresh produce machine from early prototypes through mass production.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop core product functions for rapid iteration, integration, prototyping, and mass production.
- Support product development from demonstrations through feasibility, risk analysis, prototyping, implementation, and validation.
- Test prototypes and develop agile testing methodologies.
- Manage supplier relationships and collaborate with internal departments.
- Write and review requirements, test protocols, analysis reports, and other R&D documentation.
- Lead engineering changes and continuously improve product designs.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of mechanical design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- SolidWorks experience.
- Experience with product lifecycle management systems and engineering change orders.
- Fluent Hebrew and English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience designing products for agriculture or the food industry.
- Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM).
