Lead the mechanical design and development of multidisciplinary products from concept through serial production in an R&D environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design from concept development through production
- Design mechanical assemblies, mechanisms, and electromechanical systems
- Create 3D models, engineering drawings, and design documentation
- Collaborate with electronics, software, and systems engineers
- Support prototyping, testing, integration, and manufacturing
- Conduct design reviews and implement improvements
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and production teams
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 3 years of mechanical design experience
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD tools
- Experience designing multidisciplinary systems
- Knowledge of machining, sheet metal, and plastic injection molding
- Experience preparing engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Ability to independently lead design tasks and technical activities
Nice to have
- Experience with electronic packaging and PCB integration
- Background in defense, aerospace, medical devices, or high-tech
- Familiarity with GD&T and design analysis tools
- Hands-on prototyping, testing, and integration experience
- Experience taking products from concept to mass production
