Join an electronic warfare R&D team developing advanced counter-UAV detection and jamming systems. You will own mechanical design from architecture through serial production.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle mechanical design of electronic and RF system assemblies, from concept through serial production.
- Perform structural, thermal, and modal analyses.
- Select materials, components, and manufacturing technologies.
- Manage mechanical development and engineering processes through prototyping and production implementation.
- Prepare ISO-compliant drawings, production files, and bills of materials.
- Develop mechanical solutions for multidisciplinary systems involving mechanics, RF, electronics, and aeronautics.
- Design cable assemblies, including routing and system integration.
- Conduct verification and validation testing.
- Use SolidWorks and PDM for design and production document management.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of mechanical design experience.
- Experience designing and developing multidisciplinary products in defense, automotive, or medical device industries.
- Experience performing or leading thermal simulations for electronic systems.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Ability to define components and interpret component datasheets.
- Hands-on experience building and testing prototypes, identifying design issues, and implementing improvements.
- Experience working with subcontractors on enclosures, fasteners, components, and related mechanical parts.
- Experience with PLM/PDM systems.
- High-level English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with DFM/DFA processes.
- Experience working in a startup environment.
