A global manufacturing site is seeking a Mechanical Systems Engineer to provide engineering support for customer programs, production platforms, inspections, and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Write work, inspection, and packaging instructions according to customer requirements.
- Prepare red-mark documentation for required changes.
- Provide engineering support during incoming inspections and MRB processes.
- Review assembly instructions with production operators, identify gaps, and prepare them for customer engineering changes.
- Design jigs and implement production-line improvements.
- Train production employees.
- Provide engineering support for multiple manufacturing platforms.
- Define processes and troubleshoot electromechanical assembly issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
- Very good English proficiency.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of manufacturing technologies including machining, sheet-metal fabrication, welding, coating, cable production, aluminum casting, extrusion, pressure processes, and plastic injection molding.
- Knowledge of cable testing methods and applicable work standards.
- Ability to read assembly drawings and work instructions.
- Experience with fixtures and production tooling is advantageous.
Nice to have
- Experience with electromechanical assemblies and troubleshooting across mechanical, electronic, and software interfaces.
- Knowledge of finishes, including coating types, painting processes, and inspection methods.
