Mechanical Development Engineer

Join an R&D and engineering team developing unmanned aerial systems. Contribute across concept development, system integration and evaluation, field testing, and transition to serial production.

Responsibilities

  • Design, integrate, and test aero-mechanical assemblies
  • Participate in field tests to verify system performance
  • Prepare manufacturing drawings for designed parts and components
  • Coordinate with engineers to ensure designs integrate with the wider system
  • Support manufacturing with product files, work instructions, assembly jigs, and other mechanical documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
  • At least 4 years of experience designing mechanical components for multidisciplinary systems
  • Strong SolidWorks skills
  • Familiarity with metal and plastic manufacturing processes, such as machining, forming, and 3D printing
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Hands-on, organized, and methodical approach
  • Ability to prepare technical documentation and test reports

Nice to have

  • Experience in the defense industry
  • Knowledge of additional CAD software
