A defense organization is seeking an engineer to design electronic packaging and support the installation of military systems across airborne, naval, and ground platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design electronic packaging assemblies and support the design and installation of military systems.
- Design LRU and SRU units, transmitters, receivers, radar antennas, and radomes.
- Design structures, auxiliary equipment, and masts.
- Provide technical guidance and manage engineering design projects delivered through subcontractors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least five years of engineering design experience in electronic packaging.
- Experience designing electronic packaging assemblies and familiarity with relevant manufacturing technologies.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and NX.
- Knowledge of structural strength, dynamic, and thermal analyses.
- Experience preparing specifications and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Proficiency in English and experience working with generative AI agents.
Nice to have
- Experience designing mechanical moving mechanisms.
