Join a technical services team designing and developing mechanical systems for a critical defense project. The role covers design, prototyping, production transition, and collaboration with clients.
Responsibilities
- Oversee prototype manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Prepare bills of materials and implement design modifications.
- Design and develop custom fixtures and mechanical assemblies.
- Collaborate with clients on technical requirements.
- Perform mechanical analyses and simulations.
- Support the transition of designs into production.
Requirements
- Mechanical engineering degree with at least 2 years of experience, or practical mechanical engineering qualification with at least 5 years of mechanical design experience.
- Experience designing and transitioning mechanical assemblies or integrated mechanical-electronic systems to production.
- Proficiency with Creo and/or SolidWorks.
- Experience with PLM or equivalent large-scale data management systems.
Nice to have
- Experience with both Creo and SolidWorks.
