Lead a software development team at a defense technology company, building PC applications on Windows that interface with hardware for test systems. Drive architecture, quality, and innovation across multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead a software development team across multiple projects
- Own the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, architecture, issue management, and debugging
- Ensure solution quality and drive innovation and process improvements
- Mentor and develop team members professionally
- Collaborate with multiple development groups across the organization
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience developing in C# over .NET Framework
- Hands-on experience building Windows OS applications with multi-threading and asynchronous programming
- Strong leadership and team orientation with high motivation
Nice to have
- Familiarity with web development (ASP.NET Core and Angular)
- Good familiarity with software development methodologies and SOLID principles
- Previous managerial experience (team lead or matrix leadership)
- Familiarity with software control of hardware components
