An automotive technology company is seeking a junior C++ software engineer to translate algorithmic logic into robust software, integrate modules across vehicle platforms, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain, and refactor C++ codebases
- Coordinate interfaces, align API specifications, and integrate algorithmic modules with platform and vehicle systems
- Reproduce bugs, resolve integration issues, and address system-level bottlenecks
- Maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and workflow guidelines
- Troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and automated AI development tools
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- One to two years of software engineering experience; strong recent graduates may be considered
- Strong C++ proficiency and experience writing clean, modular, maintainable code
- Familiarity with Linux, Git, and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with AI development platforms such as Cursor or Claude Code
- Strong understanding of software design best practices
Nice to have
- Python or another scripting language for build and integration automation
- Understanding of system architecture, IDLs, microservices, or modular frameworks
- Experience coordinating multi-team deliverables or using Jira and Confluence
