Join an R&D team developing embedded firmware for electric mobility products. Work across the development lifecycle and collaborate with hardware, power electronics, control, and verification teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, integrate, and maintain embedded firmware for electric mobility products
- Develop bare-metal C firmware for ARM-based systems
- Contribute throughout the development lifecycle, from requirements and design to implementation, integration, debugging, validation, and release
- Collaborate with hardware, power electronics, control, verification, and other R&D teams
- Troubleshoot firmware, hardware, and system-level issues using logic analyzers and oscilloscopes
- Work with GPIO, ADC, DMA, UART, SPI, I2C, and CAN interfaces
- Write reliable code using development best practices, including unit testing
- Contribute to technical discussions, design decisions, and improvements to development practices
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on bare-metal programming in C
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related field
- Experience with ARM architecture and embedded hardware peripherals and communication protocols
- Knowledge of interrupt-driven systems, memory and flash management, bootloaders, and low-level peripheral programming
- Experience debugging embedded systems with logic analyzers and oscilloscopes
- Experience with Git or GitHub
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage multiple technical topics
Nice to have
- Automotive or ECU experience
- Motor-control, power electronics, or safety-critical systems experience, including ISO 26262
- MISRA-C, static analysis, or CAN/UDS diagnostics experience
- Electronics background or experience with Cypress PSoC microcontrollers
- Experience with C++, C#, or Python, particularly for testing and automation
