Join an enterprise cloud platform team building, operating, and scaling mission-critical infrastructure for a security orchestration platform. The role focuses on Kubernetes operations, infrastructure automation, observability, reliability, and reducing operational toil.
Responsibilities
- Own the design and maintenance of platform tooling, deployment pipelines, and cloud systems that improve reliability and performance.
- Administer, operate, troubleshoot, and scale advanced Kubernetes clusters.
- Develop infrastructure configurations and automation policies in Go for secure, consistent, and auditable cloud resource management.
- Design and implement monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions, including Prometheus and Grafana.
- Define and manage service-level objectives and service-level indicators.
- Analyze incidents, develop preventive software solutions, and automate manual processes to accelerate incident resolution.
- Partner with product development and other cross-functional teams on operational challenges and infrastructure features.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least five years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least three years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- Experience with cloud compute platforms such as Kubernetes and cloud functions.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- At least two years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience designing and operating observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK.
- Experience with Kubernetes or GKE container orchestration.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
