A defense technology organization is seeking a Senior ITOps and Observability Engineer in Modi'in to improve visibility, reliability, and proactive monitoring for mission-critical systems, including air-gapped environments.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain full-stack monitoring with Zabbix, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Centralize logs from servers and network platforms.
- Build proactive system-health alerting for early detection and rapid response.
- Design and maintain end-to-end observability across air-gapped environments.
- Automate monitoring and operational workflows to improve system reliability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in ITOps, SRE, or monitoring-focused roles.
- Expertise with Prometheus and Grafana.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Ansible scripting.
- Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and security automation.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach.
Nice to have
- Experience deploying and managing Zabbix.
- Familiarity with log centralization tools and SNMP-based monitoring.
