Senior IT Platform Engineer

A global HR technology company is seeking a Senior IT Platform Engineer to scale SaaS applications, identity systems, endpoint management, integrations, and AI-enabled enterprise tools. The role is based in Tel Aviv with a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve SaaS application and identity architecture
- Own SSO, SAML, SCIM provisioning, lifecycle automation, and access governance across enterprise applications
- Define application integration standards, policies, and best practices
- Build and maintain API, webhook, and enterprise-platform integrations to automate business processes
- Evaluate SaaS and AI-powered tools and define integration strategies
- Support secure governance and deployment of AI-powered tools
- Administer and optimize Jamf Pro and JumpCloud for device compliance and lifecycle management
- Improve zero-touch onboarding and device management workflows
- Support device audits, reporting, and fleet visibility
- Serve as the escalation point for complex MDM, identity, and SaaS issues
- Perform root-cause analysis and drive resolution of advanced incidents
- Collaborate with IT specialists and security engineers on operations, compliance, and security objectives
- Reduce ticket volume through self-service and process improvements
- Document systems, integrations, and operational runbooks
Requirements
- At least 6 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years focused on SaaS administration, identity management, and systems integration
- Hands-on experience with Okta or a comparable identity platform, including SAML/SSO, SCIM provisioning, lifecycle rules, and access governance
- Deep expertise with MDM platforms such as Jamf, JumpCloud, or Intune
- Experience evaluating and integrating AI-powered enterprise tools with attention to data governance and responsible deployment
- Practical experience building workflows with APIs, webhooks, Workato, Slack Workflows, Google Workspace APIs, Okta Workflows, or equivalent platforms
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Tier 3 support experience in a global, fast-paced environment
- Ability to lead projects end to end and take ownership of outcomes
