Join a SaaS DevOps team as a senior individual contributor responsible for cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes operations, automation, reliability, security, and observability in Azure and other cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable production Kubernetes environments.
- Translate product and feature plans into DevOps and cloud architecture, then drive implementation end to end.
- Apply GitOps practices using Argo CD or equivalent deployment automation.
- Maintain cloud networking, load balancing, and observability tooling.
- Collaborate with R&D in a Scrum environment using Jira and the Atlassian stack.
- Participate in production support and on-call rotations.
- Share technical best practices and mentor less experienced engineers.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in cloud-native environments.
- Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience across the full lifecycle.
- Production experience managing containerized applications with Docker or OCI.
- Experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud architecture, networking, and system reliability.
- Ability to lead architectural design discussions and drive solutions from design through execution.
- Ability to write and understand Python, Bash, or similar code.
- Comfort with production on-call rotations.
- Experience using AI coding and reasoning tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or Cursor in production work.
- Strong communication and customer-centric collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure.
- Experience working in a SaaS startup company.
