Matia is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure for its data management platform. The hybrid role is based in Ramat Gan, Israel, within walking distance of two train stations.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure with Terraform.
- Own and optimize CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters on AWS.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability systems.
- Drive infrastructure security practices, including IAM, network security, and vulnerability scanning.
- Collaborate with software engineers on application performance, containerization, and database reliability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Production experience with AWS, including services such as EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, and VPC.
- Strong production experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, particularly Terraform.
- Working proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automation and internal tooling.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience owning complex infrastructure projects end to end.
- Experience mentoring engineers on DevOps practices.
- Advanced Terraform module design and expertise across multiple CI/CD platforms.
- Experience with big data technologies or orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Experience in a data tools or infrastructure-focused company.
