Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Design, deploy, maintain, and improve secure, scalable, and highly available AWS and hybrid infrastructure. This hybrid role requires working from the Tel Aviv office three days per week.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, maintain, and support AWS cloud infrastructure and services
- Build and support hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure
- Maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
- Monitor availability, performance, and reliability using Datadog and other observability tools
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and operational issues in production environments
- Perform patching, upgrades, capacity planning, and performance optimization
- Use Git workflows for infrastructure management and collaboration
- Manage operational work through Jira and change-management processes
- Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational runbooks
- Use automation, scripting, and AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and reliability
- Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Support teams
Requirements
- Experience designing and operating AWS cloud infrastructure
- Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of networking, compute, storage, security, and cloud operations
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms, preferably Datadog
- Experience with Git-based source control workflows
- Experience with Jira or similar work management platforms
- Familiarity with automation, scripting, and AI-assisted operational tools
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker, ECS, Kubernetes, or EKS
- Experience with Ansible or similar automation platforms
- Experience with VMware, Windows Server, or hybrid infrastructure
- Experience with cloud migration, modernization, and resilience initiatives
- Familiarity with ITIL-based operational processes
