Lead a Tier 2.5 support team responsible for core high-performance computing and artificial intelligence infrastructure. Provide advanced technical support to researchers and internal teams, resolve systemic production issues, and optimize scientific computing environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a Tier 2.5 support team.
- Monitor service KPIs and oversee core HPC infrastructure operations and support.
- Provide advanced support for HPC and AI infrastructure and resolve complex tickets.
- Support compilation, optimization, and execution of complex scientific applications.
- Work with WRF, SAM, Flash, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Dask, mpi4py, NumPy, and SciPy environments.
- Operate and optimize Slurm, LSF, and PBS job scheduling systems.
- Diagnose systemic issues and lead complex technology processes in production environments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience managing Linux environments.
- 5+ years of team management experience in HPC or AI environments.
- Professional experience with HPC and/or AI environments.
- 5+ years of experience with Jenkins and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
- Experience with compilers, MPI libraries, and scientific computing environments.
- Experience troubleshooting HPC and AI environments, including CPU/GPU performance benchmarking and analysis.
- Experience debugging scientific applications across large server and GPU accelerator deployments.
- Experience with Slurm, LSF, or PBS job scheduling systems.
- High-level written and spoken Hebrew and English proficiency.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and service skills.
