An unmanned aerial vehicle systems manufacturer seeks a hands-on engineer to maintain development environments, automate workflows, and own its software build process.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain software environments and client workstations.
- Write scripts and develop tools to automate manual work.
- Manage Jira, Git, and related development tools.
- Own the software build process.
- Explore AI-based tools to improve automation, troubleshooting, and workflows.
- Work closely with development and QA teams.
Requirements
- Hands-on IT or DevOps experience with Windows and Linux
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, and Jira or similar tools
- Knowledge of integration, deployment, and configuration-management tools
- Background or experience in software development
Nice to have
- Experience building automation with Python
- Experience in the defense industry
- Familiarity with geographic information systems
