DevOps and Test Automation Engineer

Own the automation infrastructure that enables testing for a microservices platform. The role bridges DevOps and QA, covering environments, pipelines, test data, reporting, and quality gates.
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture, performance, and stability of Java and Playwright test automation infrastructure
- Run tests in parallel through GitLab CI and manage runners and artifacts
- Create and manage test environments on OpenShift
- Manage test data and service virtualization for dependent services
- Develop Python tools and reports for results, trends, flakiness detection, and runtime analysis
- Define pipeline quality gates with development and DevOps teams
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in automation, DevOps, or a combination of both
- Strong Java or Python skills, with proven ability to learn and use the second language professionally
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Strong CI/CD knowledge, including pipeline design and implementation
- Experience with Docker and Git
- Basic Linux skills
