A leading financial organization is seeking an experienced Application Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing technology team. The role focuses on designing, implementing, maintaining, and monitoring enterprise application infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, implement, and maintain OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
- Install and upgrade enterprise OpenShift infrastructure and Operators.
- Build, implement, and maintain Kafka, Redis, and Vault platforms.
- Research and implement new platforms and open-source products.
- Manage and monitor systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and additional tools.
- Develop scripts and automation tools in Python and Bash.
- Work with JFrog Artifactory, Argo CD, Git, ACS, and ACM.
- Define and develop monitoring for enterprise applications.
- Participate in architecture planning and recommend new technologies and tools.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on production experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes, including installation, upgrades, and Operators.
- Experience with Linux-based operating systems.
- Knowledge of secure communications, SSL, and certificates.
- Familiarity with enterprise networking solutions, including load balancers.
- Experience with Git and JFrog Artifactory.
- Experience writing scripts and automations in Python or Bash.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
Nice to have
- Experience with Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure.
- Experience with WebSphere or WebLogic application servers.
- Experience with Ansible and Infrastructure as Code approaches.
