Responsibilities

Lead a team of 2–8 developers.
Develop C++ software on Linux in a multithreaded, clustered, server-side environment.
Own technical aspects of a core storage software component.
Improve file-system I/O flow performance.
Design new features at both high and detailed levels.
Maintain and refactor legacy code.

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional C++ development experience on Linux.
Previous experience as a software development team leader or manager.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Ability and motivation to build a strong, independent development team.

Nice to have

Experience with clustered, performance-oriented software development.
Knowledge of storage devices and file-system protocols, including NFS, NAS, SMB, or CIFS.
Experience managing teams using Scrum and Agile methods.
