Lead a six-engineer team and guide technical execution while remaining hands-on. Build backend architecture for an AI-native cybersecurity platform. This is a full-time, in-office role in central Tel Aviv, reporting to the CTO.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of six engineers and oversee delivery
- Remain hands-on for approximately 30–50% of the role
- Lead technical execution and system architecture
- Develop backend systems primarily in Python on AWS
- Integrate with React frontend components and large language model capabilities
- Promote engineering best practices and automate cybersecurity workflows
Requirements
- Experience leading software engineering teams
- Hands-on backend development experience with Python, Go, or Node.js
- Hands-on cloud development experience
- Professional experience at a cybersecurity company
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or experience in an elite military technology unit
Nice to have
- Experience with React or other frontend technologies
- Experience developing with or integrating large language models
