Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain C# and .NET backend systems
- Build secure, scalable, and documented REST APIs
- Develop microservices and integrations with enterprise systems, databases, and cloud services
- Translate business and technical requirements into solution designs
- Deploy and operate services in cloud-based and containerized environments
- Improve performance, reliability, security, and scalability
- Conduct code reviews and promote clean code, automated testing, and development best practices
- Provide technical guidance and support architecture decisions
- Participate in technical discussions with clients and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional backend development experience with C# and .NET
- Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices
- Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with SQL, relational databases, and data modeling
- Experience deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, source control, and production deployments
- Understanding of application security, authentication, and authorization
- Experience with unit and integration testing, monitoring, and production troubleshooting
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field; substantial professional experience may substitute
- Ability to lead technical tasks independently and make sound engineering decisions
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture, messaging systems, and asynchronous processing
- Experience with NoSQL databases, caching solutions, or infrastructure as code
- Background in technology consulting, enterprise projects, or client-facing roles
