Remote senior developer role focused on Python, AWS, APIs, system integrations, and AI-agent workflows for enterprise solutions. The position includes client collaboration, technical solution design, troubleshooting, and mentoring junior developers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs for business processes, system integrations, and AI-powered applications
- Build integrations between internal systems, external platforms, Salesforce, REST APIs, and third-party services
- Implement AI-agent integrations with APIs, databases, enterprise applications, and business workflows
- Develop AI-powered automation using LLMs, agents, and function or tool calling
- Gather client requirements and deliver effective technical solutions
- Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and support AWS-based integration solutions
- Improve integration reliability, scalability, and performance
- Collaborate across teams and mentor junior developers
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience
- Strong API design, development, and integration experience
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, RDS, or SQS
- Strong Python proficiency and experience building production applications and integrations
- Experience with AI and large language model technologies, including agents, tool calling, retrieval, and multi-step workflows
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize distributed integrations
- Strong client-facing communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
Nice to have
- Salesforce integration experience
- Event-driven architecture and AWS SQS or SNS knowledge
- Infrastructure as Code experience, particularly Terraform
