Seeking a senior backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable server-side applications using C# and .NET.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend components with C# and .NET.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance server-side applications.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and services.
- Participate in system architecture and software design discussions.
- Collaborate with system engineers, QA, and multidisciplinary teams on integration.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Support integration, testing, and deployment activities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on backend development experience with C# and .NET.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent relevant qualification, or military software development experience in a technological unit.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
- Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server.
- Familiarity with Git or comparable version control tools.
- High level of written and spoken English.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments.
- Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience with defense, embedded, or real-time systems.
- Familiarity with security-oriented development.
- Experience in multidisciplinary or system-level environments.
