Join a cloud networking products team developing scalable services and next-generation load-balancing technology for a distributed cloud platform. The role combines system design, programming, debugging, testing, and technical mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to cloud load-balancer and other cloud networking technologies
- Create and integrate cloud networking architectures
- Design, implement, review, document, and test production-quality code
- Collaborate closely with engineering teammates
- Establish development best practices and share technical knowledge
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers
- Support project management and backlog planning
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong Python proficiency and ability to learn additional programming languages
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, and HTTP
- Knowledge of Linux-based operating systems
- Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into scalable architectural designs
- Experience with technical design, product specification reviews, project work, and backlog planning

- Experience mentoring junior and mid-level engineers
