Join a platform engineering team building the production systems behind a multimodal AI platform. You will develop backend services, orchestration, data pipelines, and deployment tooling for SaaS and on-premise environments.
Responsibilities
- Build orchestration that coordinates services and AI models
- Develop reliable, high-throughput backend systems
- Connect and support data pipelines
- Design queues, scheduling, asynchronous flows, and background workers
- Analyze system bottlenecks and optimize throughput and latency
- Build packaging, installation, and CI/CD tooling
- Support deployments across SaaS and on-premise environments
Requirements
- At least 5 years of backend or platform engineering experience
- Experience building distributed systems, data pipelines, and orchestration
- Track record designing and delivering mission-critical backend systems
- Strong understanding of queues, asynchronous flows, background workers, and service-to-service orchestration
- Experience analyzing bottlenecks and optimizing throughput and latency
- Strong system architecture and design skills
- Production-grade Python development experience
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to have
- Experience building workflow or orchestration engines
- Hands-on experience with asynchronous Python, message queues, worker systems, or high-throughput services
- Familiarity with GCP, Kubernetes, and Terraform or OpenTofu
- Exposure to observability tools such as Grafana and Loki
