Responsibilities

Own sports data provider integrations, live match state, and real-time event delivery
Improve live-match system reliability, accuracy, and latency
Build the next version of an AI game master or lead an AI specialist doing so
Develop and maintain backend systems using TypeScript, serverless functions, PostgreSQL, and real-time technologies

Requirements

Senior backend and system architecture experience, including end-to-end ownership of a production system
Experience building real-time or event-driven systems with attention to latency, retries, fallbacks, and cost
Proficiency with TypeScript/Node.js and/or Python
Production experience with LLMs, or the judgment to evaluate and lead AI engineering work
High-level English proficiency
Genuine interest in sports

Nice to have

Experience with sports data providers such as Sportradar, LSports, Sportmonks, or API-Football
Background in sports technology, gaming, or live events
Experience shipping mobile apps to app stores
Founding engineer or CTO experience
