We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and operate a real-time on-chain detection and response platform. You will design scalable systems, develop data pipelines, integrate ML models, and ensure production reliability. Requires senior backend experience with distributed systems, strong API design, and a passion for cybersecurity.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain real-time pipelines for multi-chain activity ingestion, normalization, enrichment, and routing.
- Develop detection engines using a custom DSL, statistical models, ML models, and threat intelligence.
- Create response workflows that convert detections into alerts, automations, and integrations (webhooks/SIEM).
- Build LLM-powered systems to translate user intent into monitors and accelerate investigations.
- Own full production lifecycle: design, build, deploy, and operate with focus on observability, latency, and reliability.
Requirements
- Senior-level backend engineering experience with production services.
- Expertise in distributed systems: reliability, latency, concurrency, backpressure, idempotency.
- Strong API design and data modeling skills (relational and event-driven).
- High ownership; able to drive work end-to-end and care about outcomes.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a commitment to raising the quality bar.
Nice to have
- Web3/blockchain experience or interest.
- Real-time or streaming data experience.
- Background in security or fraud.
