Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AI-enabled services, applications, and workflows
- Integrate large language models and other AI services, including retrieval, orchestration, and evaluation pipelines
- Improve the reliability, performance, and security of owned systems
- Contribute to architecture, tooling, and engineering best practices
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience
- Strong programming skills in a backend language
- Production experience with large language models, MCPs, agents, agent frameworks, or other machine learning systems
- Experience building and consuming APIs and working with AWS cloud infrastructure
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
- Comfort with CI/CD pipelines, containers, and modern development workflows
- Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation, AI harnesses, or vector databases
- Background in cybersecurity or interest in the field
- Experience with MLOps tools and model-serving infrastructure
- Contributions to open-source AI or developer tooling projects
