Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and flexible interfaces at scale.
- Integrate external APIs, process data, and prepare it for varied output requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code and follow development standards.
- Optimize application performance across devices and browsers.
- Work with stakeholders to turn requirements into technical solutions.
- Evaluate technologies that could improve the e-commerce platform.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of backend development experience.
- Strong JavaScript skills and experience with Node.js and a framework such as Express.
- Knowledge of APIs, microservices, asynchronous programming, and scalable application design.
- Experience with data stores such as SQL databases, Redis, or MongoDB, and queues such as Gearman, RabbitMQ, or SQS.
- Experience with automated and unit testing, Git, AWS or GCP, Linux, and CI/CD processes.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and related tools such as Helm, Argo CD, and Prometheus.
