Lead SAP development activities while contributing hands-on to ABAP development, system integrations, interfaces, and SAP system improvements. The role combines approximately 50% team management with 50% development and involves collaboration with functional implementation teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage the SAP development team and improve SAP systems
- Coordinate development activities with functional implementation teams and stakeholders according to work plans
- Develop and support integrations and interfaces between systems
- Provide technical, organizational, and professional support to development teams
- Monitor schedules, procedures, code quality, and deliverables
Requirements
- Extensive, proven knowledge of SAP implementation and development technologies and processes
- Hands-on experience with ALV, including object-oriented and function-module approaches
- Experience with RFC function modules, user exits, BAdIs, IDocs, and ABAP OO
- Experience with Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, enhancements, OData, and SAP Gateway
- Strong problem-solving and complex decision-making skills
- Broad systems perspective and understanding of complex business processes
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and service-oriented skills
Nice to have
- Experience developing in S/4HANA environments
- Experience with Fiori applications
