Seeking a hands-on storage software engineer to design and implement distributed storage services for block storage solutions. Work with Linux kernel, NVMe, and distributed systems to deliver high-performance storage in cloud environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and drive innovation.
Responsibilities
- Code in C language for kernel and userspace
- Research, design, implement, and test distributed storage services
- Acquire deep understanding of algorithms and component interactions
- Analyze and solve bugs in large-scale production systems
Requirements
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science or related field
- 15+ years experience as a senior developer
- Strong proficiency in C/C++
- Experience with storage protocols and NVMe
- Experience with Linux block subsystem and IO stack
- Experience in designing and developing distributed systems
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt to new technology
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts
Nice to have
- Linux Kernel coding experience
- Linux Kernel internals knowledge including memory management, scheduling
