Seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead design and implementation of large-scale distributed systems, including transaction frameworks, monitoring, and APIs. Require deep expertise in databases, algorithms, C++/Python. Mentor junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of large, complex initiatives end to end.
- Design and implement distributed transaction framework.
- Build large-scale operational state monitoring and telemetry systems.
- Develop APIs for system configuration and runtime state.
- Perform large-scale improvements, deep optimizations, and architectural redesigns.
- Mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- 7+ years professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python.
- Experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL), schema design, performance.
- Proven ability to lead complex system design and implementation.
- Experience designing and implementing classical algorithms and data structures.
- BSc in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with Rust.
