Join an AWS managed services team building backend services, APIs, customer implementations, and cloud solutions. The role covers the full software development lifecycle in a small operations team.
Responsibilities
- Take products from requirements through development, testing, and production
- Build backend services and REST APIs, contributing across the stack when needed
- Review, debug, and fix code, including AI-generated code, to ensure correctness, security, and production readiness
- Integrate applications with AWS services and third-party APIs
- Own features end to end within a small operations team
- Participate in deployment, monitoring, incident handling, and code quality processes
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience, with a backend focus; full-stack experience is acceptable
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a technological military unit
- Experience owning production systems, including deployment, monitoring, and incident response
- Experience using AI tools for software development and debugging
- Working knowledge of Python 3.11+, Flask, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or DocumentDB, and REST APIs
- Experience with AWS services such as ECS Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, IAM, Terraform, ECR, and CloudWatch
- Working knowledge of Flask/Jinja2, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Next.js, React, or TypeScript
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPC networking, and API Gateway
