Join an early-stage cybersecurity startup as one of its first engineers. Build core backend systems and infrastructure, own features from design through production, and help shape the product architecture and engineering foundations.
Responsibilities
- Build core backend systems and infrastructure from the ground up.
- Own complex features end to end, from architecture and design through production.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and AI researchers to turn research into scalable product capabilities.
- Address scalability, reliability, security, and complex enterprise environment challenges.
- Contribute to architectural and technical decisions and establish engineering foundations and standards.
Requirements
- Experience building production-grade backend systems.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and system design skills.
- Hands-on experience with backend infrastructure, distributed systems, APIs, and large-scale production environments.
- Experience with Go, Python, or similar backend technologies.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and collaborate with technical stakeholders.
- A product mindset and interest in building in an early-stage environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in a cybersecurity company, an early-stage startup, or a founding engineering team.
- Experience with AI, large language models, agents, or AI-native products.
- Technical service in an elite Israeli technology or cyber unit, or equivalent.
- A track record of meaningful technical ownership.
