Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and system architecture teams to define end-to-end solutions.
- Define firmware architecture for new products and features at the core of NIC firmware.
- Lead design and implementation of strategic technologies, including functional safety, security, and next-generation networking capabilities.
- Mentor and technically guide R&D engineers throughout architecture, design, and implementation.
- Drive technical direction across multiple teams while ensuring scalable, maintainable, and high-quality firmware architecture.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of firmware or embedded software development experience.
- 4+ years of technical leadership experience (Technical Lead, Architect, or Technical Manager).
- Excellent understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with networking protocols and high-performance networking.
- Experience developing real-time or embedded systems.
- Experience designing large-scale firmware architectures.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with security technologies or safety-critical systems.
