Design, build, and maintain highly scalable backend components and services for a cloud-based Just-In-Time Access Management system. Work with modern orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and RabbitMQ, deliver API integrations, and take end-to-end ownership of projects.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend components and services.
- Deliver outstanding user experience for complex API integrations.
- Provide technical leadership for projects with increasing complexity.
- Review functional and technical requirements, identify gaps, and propose simplifications.
- Take end-to-end ownership of deliverables and ensure high quality through engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 1+ years software development experience with any language.
- Familiarity with Node.js, TypeScript, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, Redis, and Postgres.
- Experience with scalable microservices architectures.
- Understanding of CI/CD and monitoring/alerting strategies.
- Familiarity with unit testing and end-to-end testing tools.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with React, NestJS, Fastify, and Mikro-ORM.
- Experience with API services with limited functionality or scalability.
- Performance optimization for backend components on cloud and on-prem.
