Lead an AI engineering and data science team, setting technical direction and delivering production-grade AI systems on AWS for enterprise customers.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, mentor, and manage AI engineers and data scientists, setting technical direction and engineering practices.
- Design and deploy end-to-end AI systems, including RAG pipelines, Text-to-SQL agents, and document processing solutions.
- Build secure enterprise MLOps platforms on AWS, including CI/CD, feature stores, and monitoring.
- Develop graph-based AI agents and data models to improve reasoning and optimize cost and latency.
- Work with enterprise customers to establish architectures, governance safeguards, validation, and data protection.
- Balance rapid delivery with production-quality engineering.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience designing, deploying, and managing production AI and machine learning systems, with a strong data engineering foundation.
- Demonstrated experience leading, managing, and mentoring AI engineering or data science teams.
- Deep architectural expertise in AWS and experience deploying large-scale solutions.
- Hands-on experience with large language models, deep learning frameworks, domain-specific prompting, and vector search or Elasticsearch.
- Experience modeling complex data with graph databases such as Neo4j.
- Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
- Fluency in Hebrew and English.
- Strong communication skills for customer-facing work and explaining technical concepts in business terms.
