Develop and optimize production algorithms for next-generation retail technology systems, applying machine learning, data analysis, sensor processing, and scientific methods.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement algorithms for machine learning, data analysis, and sensor data processing
- Deploy algorithms into production systems and software applications
- Research innovative approaches to improve algorithm performance and system efficiency
- Optimize algorithm effectiveness, scalability, and real-world integration
- Collaborate with software development and product management teams on algorithm-driven features
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, code reviews, and cross-functional collaboration
- Lead algorithm development projects from conception through deployment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, or a related field
- At least 4 years of professional experience as an algorithm engineer or data scientist
- Strong software development skills in an object-oriented language, preferably Python, Go, or Java
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, mathematics, statistics, and probability
- Hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases and proficiency in SQL
- Experience with cloud environments and cloud tools
- Familiarity with Agile practices, Jira, and version control systems such as Git
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field
- Experience with signal processing and time-series data
- Knowledge of large language models
