AI Engineer, Security Research
Join a small, senior R&D team building AI agents and supporting software for security research. The role combines hands-on cybersecurity expertise, practical engineering, and ownership of complex problems from experimentation through working solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI agents for security research
- Apply practical security expertise to engineering approaches and technical decisions
- Develop and improve supporting software and tools
- Evaluate results, identify limitations, and improve quality and reliability
- Own complex problems from initial experiments through working solutions
Requirements
- Hands-on cybersecurity experience in security research or offensive security, such as reverse engineering, vulnerability research, or exploit development
- Experience with AI agents and large language models, or clear aptitude and enthusiasm for prompting, tool use, orchestration, and evaluating and improving agent output
- Strong engineering ability and sound technical judgment
- Practical problem-solving skills for difficult, ambiguous challenges
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and contribute effectively within a small team
Nice to have
- Experience with multi-agent systems, tool-calling frameworks, or agent evaluations
- Exploit-development experience and a public track record such as CVEs, CTF achievements, talks, technical write-ups, or tools
- Reverse-engineering experience with IDA or similar tools, including disassembly and decompiled code
- Specialist knowledge of kernels, browsers, mobile or Android, firmware, or embedded systems
- Relevant technical experience in Israeli intelligence technology units or the Ministry of Defense
