Senior AI Software Engineer
Design and develop core AI runtime SDK components for efficient inference of generative AI and large language models on low-power accelerators, focusing on performance optimization and debugging.
Responsibilities
- Develop software for AI Stack SDKs to support execution of generative AI models on Snapdragon platforms.
- Design and implement core components of AI Stack runtime framework for inference on resource-constrained systems.
- Validate, analyze, and optimize performance and accuracy of software through testing of machine learning use cases.
- Debug complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure high system reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable AI software solutions.
- Lead feature development and application of machine learning techniques into products and AI solutions.
- Participate in design and code reviews, and provide guidance to junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of general software development experience.
- Proficiency in C/C++ development.
- Experience with development in a Linux environment.
- Strong software development skills including data structures, algorithms, OOP, debugging, and testing.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience building embedded software applications.
- Familiarity with generative AI model architectures such as LLMs.
- Strong understanding of hardware acceleration and deployment of generative AI inference at the edge.
- Experience with development on Linux, Android, or Windows platforms.
- Knowledge of low-level interactions between operating systems and hardware.
- Experience with agile software development and git-based SCM.
- Ability to collaborate across a globally diverse team.
