Own the design and delivery of production systems spanning backend services, cloud infrastructure, data flows, and AI capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Own technical architecture and implementation of complex production systems
- Build backend services, cloud infrastructure, and data flows
- Integrate AI capabilities into production systems
- Deliver reliable, scalable, observable, and performant systems
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on software, backend, or platform engineering experience
- Experience with Python and/or Node.js, TypeScript, or Java
- Strong knowledge of backend architecture, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Hands-on cloud experience, preferably AWS
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and production environments
- Knowledge of databases, messaging systems, and data pipelines
- Practical experience with LLMs, RAG, AI agents, embeddings, inference services, or AI APIs
- Production focus on scalability, reliability, observability, and performance
- Ability to own complex systems from architecture through implementation and production
- Experience with modern AI development and coding tools
Nice to have
- Kubernetes, Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools
- FastAPI, Kafka or RabbitMQ, Redis, and vector databases
- SRE, observability, ML infrastructure, computer vision, or self-hosted LLMs
