Lead a four-person agile team building AI infrastructure and applied AI solutions for enterprise cloud products. Combine hands-on engineering with technical direction in a hybrid Central Israel office, with one work-from-home day per week and potential for more flexibility later.
Responsibilities
- Lead an agile team of four AI and software engineers.
- Set technical strategy and provide hands-on architecture for generative AI, LLMs, and agentic systems.
- Design and build reusable AI frameworks, data integration layers, and multi-agent workflows for cloud products and business processes.
- Move AI architectures from proof of concept into resilient production environments.
- Architect distributed backend services, microservices, and API integrations on Azure.
- Mentor engineers, conduct architecture reviews, and establish engineering standards.
- Partner with product and business stakeholders on complex international trade challenges.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- At least 2–3 years of technical or team leadership experience.
- Proven hands-on experience developing and shipping AI/ML, generative AI, or LLM solutions.
- Advanced Python programming skills.
- Experience building reusable AI infrastructure or platforms, or integrating AI into enterprise software.
- Hands-on expertise with prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, and agentic frameworks.
- Experience taking AI or software systems from proof of concept to scalable production.
- Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
- Experience deploying and managing cloud services, particularly on Microsoft Azure.

- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
