We are looking for an experienced Senior DBA to manage and support complex Oracle and SQL Server environments, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and reliability across critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Oracle and SQL Server databases.
- Manage backups, recovery processes, upgrades, and patch installations.
- Monitor and optimize database performance.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, permissions, and infrastructure issues.
- Support production deployments and environment refreshes.
- Work closely with BI and development teams, including code reviews and best practice guidance.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience with both Oracle and SQL Server administration.
- Strong knowledge of Backup & Recovery, Performance Tuning, and database troubleshooting.
- Experience with Oracle Data Guard and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
- Experience managing users, roles, permissions, and database security.
- Ability to work independently in a complex enterprise environment.
- Oracle RAC and SQL Server Always On.
- PowerShell scripting.
- Azure / Cloud environments.
- SSIS, Oracle APEX, and Oracle Forms.
- Experience supporting BI environments.
