Data Scientist – Credit Card & Payment Products Analytics

Experienced data scientist needed to develop machine learning models and perform advanced analytics on large datasets to support credit card and payment product decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Work with large datasets using machine learning algorithms to identify trends in credit cards, digital wallets, and advanced payment methods.
  • Identify business challenges to improve decision-making around credit risk, sales volumes, churn, and activity levels.
  • Develop models for customer churn, product acquisition, card usage, campaign response, consumer behavior, sales growth, personalization, and recommendations.
  • Build control models for settlements with payment companies and business partners.
  • Collect and integrate internal and external data sources such as transaction history, credit usage, digital channels, competitor data, and market trends.
  • Structure additional databases and define information presentation for decision makers.
  • Manage and monitor unit revenues and analyze income streams alongside operational expenses.

Requirements

  • Relevant bachelor's degree (economics, computer science, statistics, mathematics, industrial engineering with information systems specialization).
  • Completion of a Data Scientist training program from a recognized institution.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist in a large financial organization (advantage: banks and credit card companies).
  • Proven experience developing machine learning models.
  • Proficiency in Python and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn.
  • Experience with SQL and analysis on large databases.
  • Familiarity with statistical methods, data mining, and model performance evaluation.
  • Experience using AI tools.
